(suitable for WABECO lathes D6000 E/D6000 E high speed)

Universal drilling and milling unit DF1680 E

DF1680E Mill/Drill Head

High torque on the work spindle even in the lower speed ranges and this is ideal for machining materials which are hard and difficult to cut.

Extremely silent running by means of modern, electronically regulated drive technology.
Extremely rigid work spindle in extendable sleeve -the precision ground work spindle with an accuracy of 0,01 mm and is mounted in a generously dimensioned drilling and milling quill with anti-friction bearings.
The milling head can be swivelled 90º to both sides for drilling and milling at every angle. The vertical position can be set by means of a hardened and ground conical index pin.
Tool, clamping and ejection system for mounting and ejecting tools (milling cutter, drill, chuck etc.) without a lot of effort. This makes any knocking out of tools with a hammer causing damage to the spindle bed, unnecessary.
The ON-OFF switch with a low voltage release, i.e. the machine does not restart automatically in the case of a power failure. The drive electronics are equipped with a multiple fault monitoring circuit which allows a smooth start under all operating conditions.
Easy maintenance - because all the modules are easy to reach. The modules can easily be removed for repair purposes.
